Technology Committee

The Technology Committee consists of the Webmaster and a Clerk from each of the six New England States and is tasked with keeping the NEACTC website current.  The webmaster serves as the chair of the committee.

The domain name NewEnglandClerks.org was created on August 4, 2005.. The Webmaster is responsible for editing and uploading information on the website and has a login and password to access every section of the site.  Each committee member is given authorization to edit and maintain a page of the website for his or her own State.

After the NEACTC Annual Meeting, committee members review the information on the website and compile updates to be sent to the webmaster, such as board and committee member listings, Constitution amendments that may have passed at the Annual Meeting, minutes from meetings, etc.

The webmaster coordinates with the Treasurer in updating the membership list on the website and maintains a current membership database.  The webmaster uploads the NEACTC newsletter to the website upon receipt from the newsletter editor and emails the newsletter to current members who have indicated a willingness to receive correspondence electronically.  Additionally, the webmaster arranges to have copies of the newsletter printed and mails copies to those members who elect not to receive it electronically.  The webmaster submits expenses related to printing and mailing to the Treasurer for reimbursement.
