Membership Committee
Mission Statement
The Membership Committee shall assist the NEACTC Executive Board by encouraging member states to promote membership in the NEACTC.
Organization

The Membership Committee shall consist of six (6) persons, one (1) from each of the New England member-states. The Chair of the Membership Committee shall be rotated annually, and be from the New England state hosting the next Annual Conference.

The Membership Committee shall meet in connection with regularly scheduled meetings of the NEACTC Executive Board, or as often as the Membership Committee believes necessary. The sitting President of the NEACTC will be invited to attend meetings for input and consultation.

A majority of the members of the Membership Committee in attendance shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business at any meeting thereof, and the act of a majority of voting members of the Committee present at any meeting at which a quorum is present shall be the act of the Committee.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Membership Committee shall:

Identify and recommend qualified candidates for NEACTC membership.

Have sole authority to retain and terminate any search firm to be used to identify Trustee candidates, including sole authority to approve fees and terms.

Review, develop and recommend ideas for enhancing membership.

Maintain minutes of Committee meetings and report regularly to the Board.

Attend to such other matters as the Executive Board may determine.
