President’s Message
Message from the Incoming President
I am honored to serve as President of the New England Association of City and Town Clerks, and I am grateful for the trust and confidence you have placed in me. Serving this organization and its dedicated members is a privilege, and I look forward to the year ahead.
NEACTC has long been a source of support and connection for municipal clerks across New England. Our association is dedicated to helping clerks grow professionally, stay connected with colleagues, and continue learning through our annual conferences, training opportunities, and the New England Municipal Clerks’ Institute and Academy. This shared commitment to development and collaboration is what strengthens our profession and unites our six states.
As we look ahead, my priorities for the coming year focus on advancing and deepening the work that makes NEACTC such a valuable resource:
Strengthening Connections
We will continue building meaningful relationships across the region, so clerks have a strong network to rely on for guidance, support, and shared knowledge.
Advancing Professional Growth
We will enhance learning opportunities through conferences, trainings, and educational programs—ensuring every member has access to the tools and resources needed to succeed in a constantly evolving field.
Elevating the Role of Clerks
We will continue highlighting the essential work clerks do each day, helping our communities better understand the expertise, dedication, and professionalism that define our role in local government.
I look forward to working collaboratively with our board, committees, and members to continue strengthening the association and supporting the important work taking place in each of your communities. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve. Together, we will build on the strong foundation already in place and continue advancing the mission of NEACTC.
Kerri Parker, MMC
Meredith, NH Town Clerk
